Sometimes you come upon treasures: Beautiful carriages to sell
For a long time I was looking for the perfect carriage for my Morgans. I wanted an old-timer. If I would have bought it in the USA when we where still living there I would have found something right away. But in Europe the carriage horses where much taller and heavier, therefore the carriages are two heavy for the little Morgan horse. Than I came upon an add. A Stiver from 1888 manufactured in New York. How it made its way over to Europe no one knows. I went to look at it and it was clear it was perfect to be used in traditional driving with my Morgans.
At the same time I met a very nice lady the owner of these carriages that are real beauties. She told me that it was about ten years ago that her husband died suddenly. He was a passionate carriage driver with all his traditions. He left a park of carriages. Ms Schaerer could not sell them right after his death but now that she is moving and needs to sell them. They are all in perfect condition. You might need to dust them of a bit but you can use them right away.
Prices can be discussed after having seen them. If you are interested please contact Ms Schaerer at +41 44 935 22 61 or +41 79 407 82 86.
